August Update
The official LETHAL FORCE trailer is now up. Check it out here. Now posted: The splendoriffic "Lethal Force" links page. Click here to meet all our puffy little pals. Congratualtions are in order to LETHAL FORCE Action Director/Cinematographer who has been nominated for Best Picture and Best Score in this year's B-Movie Film Festival in upstate New York. Eric has promised that he will delay tapping all that nubile Hollywood starlet booty and ending all of his sentences with the word "babe" for at least six months. The shorter cut of LETHAL FORCE is just about wrapped up and will be the version submitted to festivals in order to make the deadlines. Running 5m less than the prescribed 70m feature length running time, Producer Alvin Ecarma believes that this flaw can be circumvented through lying. However, once the additional fight scenes and flashbacks are added, the actual length will make the 70m mark, if just barely. In any case the film will soon be sent to Music Man Mike Branum for an original score. As you know, Mike is known for his eclectic, ethnic, muzak-influenced style that has made him the Ugandan singing sensation that he is today. This past July, Director Alvin Ecarma joined fellow filmmaker Jeff Krulik and cult film impresario Carl Cephas to promote the 7th Annual Washington Psychotronic Film Society "Psycho" Awards, a celebration of odd-ball filmmaking in the Metro-DC area and beyond.Interviewed by a correspondent of WETA RADIO FM 90.9, Alvin's participation was entirely censored to due his constant references to illicit drug use and prostitution and his insistence that he speak using a voice vaguely reminiscent of Marlon Brando and former senator and presidential candidate Paul Tsongas. This slight would be brutally unforgivable had anyone been actually listening. SPOILER ALERT! In a scoop that may rival net gossipmongers Ain't It Cool News, Coming Attractions, and quite possibly The New England Journal of Medicine, we are proud to spill the beans of the season opener for the hit NBC series, THE WEST WING. If you recall, the season finale ended with an assassination attempt on the life of the President, played by Martin Sheen. In the season premiere, it will be revealed that he escaped harm when he snatched a passerby's infant child and used the tot as a human shield. Maverick Secret Service Agent Angus MacGrath (portrayed by our own Andy Hewitt) will then spearhead a plan to protect all high ranking officials by draping them in jumpsuits composed of angry, squealing babies. That's all for this month. I remain your humble servant, K. Spilsbury |
