50 Word Synopsis After his wife is murdered and his son kidnapped, a gangster is forced to betray his best friend- a deadly killer- in this raucous, off-the-wall satire/homage that is to Action Films what SCREAM is to Horror Movies. 150 Word Synopsis When his young son PATRICK is kidnapped, JACK, a gangster, arranges to sell out his best friend SAVITCH, a hitman, to MAL, a crime lord. Mal has concocted this scheme to take revenge on Savitch who had left him crippled years ago. When Jack's ambush goes wrong, the truth is revealed. Eventually, Savitch is subdued and taken back to Mal's hideout. But Mal's plans collapse when Savitch breaks free and wipes out everyone except Jack who escapes back to the hideout and rescues his son. But before they can escape, Savitch confronts Jack and the two come face to face in a final showdown that pits paternal love against killer instinct in a brutal blood-soaked climax that leaves no criminal unpunished or innocent unscathed. 250 WordSynopsis After his wife is executed and with his young son PATRICK held captive, JACK, a gangster, arranges to sell out his best friend SAVITCH, a ruthless killer, to MAL, a crime lord. Assisted by his aide RITA, Mal has concocted this scheme to take revenge on Savitch who had left him for dead many years ago. When Jack's ambush goes wrong, the truth is revealed. Savitch escapes but is later cornered by Jack and Mal's goons. After a violent shoot-out, Savitch spares Jack's life, allowing Jack to take him by surprise by beating him into submission by running him over with a Ford Saturn. Mal arrives and takes Savitch back to his hideout. Later, Rita reveals to Jack that she is a rogue cop also out for Savitch's blood. Sensing Jack's underlying decency, Rita promises to free Jack and his son while she takes care of Savitch and Mal and his gang. Jack agrees to the arrangement. However, the plan backfires and Rita is caught red-handed. But then Savitch breaks free and wipes out everyone except Jack who escapes back to the hideout and rescues his son. But before they can escape, Savitch confronts them and Jack is mortally wounded. When his son tries to defend him, Savitch is injured. Patrick runs off and Savtich gives chase. Meanwhile, Jack, still barely alive, goes to stop him. With paternal love pitted against killer instinct, no criminal is left unpunished or innocent left unscathed in a brutal, blood-soaked climax. |
