Day 15: October 16th, 1999 Day 16: October 17th, 1999

It was a hot and ribald shoot this past weekend at the Divergent Thinking Productions Studios i.e. my house. Thanks to some clever lighting tricks, a catwalk and some well-placed banana plants, my basement was transformed into Club Bertha, den of iniquity and general naughtiness. Extra big kudos go to our Go-Go girls Carolina Hoyas (Roxy, a saucy dame), Tracey Wise (Bar Babe Keebler), Marigot Mahon-Haft (Bambi McFlyswatter), and especially Jen Dunkelberger as "New Girl Suzy"; bravely, Jen pranced around the set, leaping and kicking about in an especially ridiculous outfit. The production thanks Jen for her saintly patience and the fact that she won't be pressing charges. Jen would also like to thank Ron and the staff of Object who provided some of the very special wardrobe that made her moment in front of the camera so well-ventilated and drafty. In casting news, everybody give Ed Broyles, Paul Drury, Gautam Kharkar, Carl Cephas, and Dave Nuttycomb & Pat Carroll, late of the legendary local comedy troupe The Langley Punks, a big, wet sloppy kiss with lots of saliva and bonus bodily fluid from your open, bleeding chancre sores. They're on board now and so very afraid. So go check out the website and see the horrible, horrible mess you're all getting yourselves into. It's not pretty.
