Day

Wow, the end is nearer than near, but that doesn't mean the production still doesn't have its share of snags to deal with. On Saturday... well, let's just say that things didn't work out with the location; I'm still upset about this so in the name of solidarity I request that each and every cast and crew member sneak out of their beds in the dead of night, find the nearest construction site, and smash every goddamn window in the place. Now that's just a request, actually more of an idea, and on second thought you really shouldn't do it. It's just not right. But don't let the rule of law stop you if you feel that construction industry should be savagely punished for their impudence. Who am I to stop you in carrying out your divine unholy retribution? I'd say I'm completely powerless. Sunday, things moved along smoothly and the day was topped off with the film's heartwarming tribute to that eternal children's classic "I Spit On Your Grave" with Magdick losing his joystick in none too pleasant circumstances. Actor Lou Zamicilli had his trousers rigged w/ tubing and the super soaker, and when the time came, it was "Castrato Lou"; unfortunately, it got to be pretty disturbing with Lou demanding multiple takes because he claimed the smell of the stage blood made him "feel dirty, but in a good way" and soon he was dancing a disturbing little jig that was heavy on the pelvic thrusts. It creeped us all out. |
As Mal (Andrew Hewitt), Rita (Pat Williams) and goons look on, Jack (Frank Prather) makes a fateful call. |
Magdick (Lou Zammichili) secretes his slimy, petroleum-based lubricant charms as he canoodles with an oily Thompson (James Washington) |
Rita (Pat Williams) corrects Thompson (James Washington) on his poor posture habits. |
Mal (Andrew Hewitt) and Rita (Pat Williams) play finger games in what is perhaps the film's only depiction of a normal relationship. |
Thompson (James Washington) gets sassy with Rita (Pat Williams). |
Anatomy of a special effect: Magdick's demise from beginning to gory end. |
Magdick: a victim of violent self-abuse. And some people only go blind. |
