Day 6: August 1st, 1999 |
In a surprising turn of events, the production's streak of filming w/o permits and generally mucking about in a manner unbecoming of Men of The Cloth was shattered this past weekend when angry rent-a-cops told us to drop dead when we were discovered shooting behind a Bethesda movie theatre that will remain nameless (Cineplex Odeon, if you really want to know). Still, it was a good, long, and generally grueling day with much in the way of running around, tossing dummies into fountains, and performing complicated fight sequences. Heroic Faceless Goons Pete Seroskie, Ray Cooper and Donald Vick now know what it feels like to be a Civil War Re-enactor thanks to jumping around in heavy suits and ski masks in 100 degree plus weather for ten hours in blazing unforgiving sun. Once again, we all survived and nobody got killed. In other news, shooting is going to go on hiatus until the weekend of August 21 so things will be quiet until then. Footage has already come back from the lab and it looks great. |
